Teenage Instructional Video – How to Change a Toilet Roll
I came across a really funny video from a dad who made a video and used Social Media to “talk” to his kids. I do believe it was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, although from some of the comments on the video, many adults took it literally!
If you have kids, these days almost any age, have you noticed that their cell phones have become extensions of their bodies? They can text at a rate faster than the speed of light.
They have made a new language of abbreviations we adults don’t understand just to make their communications easier. I guess it is called the new “shorthand”.
It is almost impossible to talk to them face-to-face without their face IN their cell phones. I remember doing something similar to Will’s video but not on social media and not in video.
Teenagers have a tendency to not be the neatest creatures in the world. I remember very clearly calling my daughter into the kitchen and telling her I wanted to introduce her to someone.
She came in reluctantly and I introduced her to the GARBAGE PAIL! I think I made my point.
However, as we know, video marketing and social media, especially Facebook, have far greater impact than just our words.
I don’t know about you, but I learn what my children are doing oftentimes first on Facebook! It is great for keeping up with those we care about! Sometimes it is a pain in the butt, but it does work doesn’t it?
Without further ado, I introduce you to Will Reid and his Teenage Instructional video.
Please don’t tell me he put the roll of toilet paper on the wrong way! Who cares? I think he made his point and gave us all a good laugh at the same time!
