I have to admit, I don’t think I would have ever thought of using the prompt ImageFX just gave me: “A turtle made of potato chips” 😊 but here it is:

When you click on the “Settings” button, you will see that you can select the aspect ratio you want to use.
Other options include image effects such as illusion, watercolor, handmade, photography, and intricate.

Now, let’s try creating an image using a text prompt. Let me explain how I come up with prompt ideas.
I start with a generic description of what I am looking to generate. For example, I want to create a feature image for my blog post, “Build a Loyal Audience with Visual Content: Strategies that Work.”
My go-to tool for image prompts is RightBlogger. One of their over 80 AI content tools is the MidJourney Prompt Generator.
This prompt generator will then spit out several options, usually five. If you use several different AI image creators, you can try this prompt in all of them to see which result you prefer.
So, let’s try the first result in ImageFX and see what it comes up with.
Click on any image to make changes or download it to get a closer look. Remember, with all AI-generated images, you must inspect them for funky results, such as six fingers on one hand, missing heads, and other oddities.
Let’s try another one. Note: the MidJourney image prompts from Rightblogger often include the aspect ratio and versions, which are only relevant for MidJourney.
Don’t include that in the prompt when using ImageFX; as mentioned above, you can select it in the settings section.

Bing Image Creator is a cool and free tool I also use. Initially, it only generated visuals with a 1:1 aspect ratio.
In How to Extend AI Images from Bing Image Creator Using Canva—Updated, I describe how to create the images you like in Bing and then use Canva’s Magic Expand function to change the aspect ratio.
Then, Bing added the ability to generate your image using a landscape ratio. However, the result is not the same as the original image generated.
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. You may like the newer version better. But then again, you might not.
Hence, having multiple options for free AI image generators is a plus.
