Renderforest Vs. InVideo

Creating stunning videos for business or educational presentations, YouTube channels, and other sharing sites can be challenging, especially if you have to design each element from scratch.

This article will explore the Renderforest vs InVideo platforms, compare and contrast their features, and help you decide which one to choose.

But before that, let’s see a few benefits of video creation and editing tools.

And I will show you short examples of videos created on both platforms throughout this post.

Benefits of Using A Video Editing Tool

There are several benefits to using video editing software, including efficiency, less need for design expertise, flexibility, and accessibility. Major vital points are ease of use and cost-effectiveness.

Cost Effective

Let’s say you run a marketing firm, and your target audiences are best reached with video ads or demos.

Would you hire a professional video creator for several thousand dollars per two-minute clip or go for an inexpensive, easy-to-use, high-quality video creation platform?

Well, unless you have limitless finances, the best choice would be to go for something that will assist you with creating tons of videos at a reasonable cost.

Easy To Use

Video editing tools are easy to navigate and use regardless of experience.

This means you don’t need to be a pro video creator or marketer before you can find your way around platforms such as Renderforest and InVideo.

What is Renderforest and How Does it Work?

Renderforest Vs. InVideo: Contrast And Compare

Now that we have their individual features, pros and cons, let’s compare their user-friendliness, versatility, pricing and plans before deciding which one’s the best.

Ease of Use and User Interface

The user interface is an important feature that determines how well users can easily adapt to using software, even with little or no prior video editing experience.

InVideo takes the bat here since its homepage, work dashboard, and onboarding process were all so streamlined to give newbies an easy walk-through.

Besides the intuitive interface, Invideo makes it very easy to access your in-platform tools as a video editor, and you barely have to struggle to find what you are need.

Renderforest has a smooth navigation flow but is quite complicated, with several different functionalities.

As for their learning curve, both platforms provide enough learning resources and tutorials. This means InVideo has a simpler learning curve.

So the only determining factor of how fast users get acquainted is the user interface and ease of use.

Performance, Speed, and Features

Regarding performance and speed, both Renderforst and InVideo offer flash rendering and super-fast live video processing.

This is because InVideo and Renderforest are hosted on the cloud.

As long as your device capacity is enough, and you have strong internet, you should have no issues.

Regarding features, InVideo has a set of AI-powered functionalities such as text-to-video and speech converters.

Renderforest is not lagging behind with its own AI-powered video generator too. So there’s no clear winner when it comes to features and tools.

But what about templates? Renderforest takes the lead here since it has over 50,000 beautiful templates, compared to only 5000+ premade layouts from InVideo.

Moreover, Renderforest gives business subscribers a free website.

Customer Support

Both platforms offer live chat, email support, and a community forum to address crucial issues encountered when creating your videos.

However, only InVideo has phone support which gives you a direct voice connection with techies behind the scene.

Although Renderforest lacks voice support, every premium user has an account manager that they can reach.

Of course, that still can’t compare to directly getting on a phone call. So InVideo takes the lead for support.

Pricing and Plans

Let’s explore the pricing of both platforms:

  • Free plan: Limited access
  • Lite: $14.99/month; in paid yearly: $9.99/month
  • Pro: $29.99/month; $19.99 if paid yearly
  • Business: $49.99/month; $29.99/month when paid yearly

  • Free plan: Super-limited access
  • Business: $30.00/monthly; $15.00/month if paid yearly
  • Unlimited: $60.00/month; if paid yearly, $30.00/month
  • Lifetime Business Plan for $399 billed once.

As you can see from the prices above, they are similar. However, Renderforest has a lite version while InVideo does not.

Both offer significant savings when paid yearly as opposed to monthly.

And lastly, InVideo’s Lifetime Business plan is attractive for those who want to pay all at once and not incur monthly or yearly subscriptions.

Our Take: Renderforest or InVideo?

Both platforms are fantastic, and there’s no clear distinction between them.

But when it comes to simplicity, InVideo is best recommended for newbies and people who like things simple.

If you like to work with an ocean of stock images, elements, and customizable templates, then Renderforest is a better option.

This is especially true for professional video creators and YouTubers with a vast need for new layouts every day.

Picking between two highly-powered, cloud-based videos can be exhausting, but with the above features, we are sure you have your choice already.

Before making your choice, ensure you consider the usability factor.

You don’t want to take on a platform with a steep learning curve unless you have the patience and time.

Try them both out and see which you prefer. Or, use both as I do 🙂

    Hi Ryan,

Usability is always an issue. Truth be told, I hadn’t used InVideo before writing this post. Because I liked what I saw, I purchased it and learned how to use it. I loved the text-to-speech for voiceover capability. It’s easy to use and pretty effective. Not 100% but pretty close for AI.
